
GREEN AUDIT
It covers the entire process cycle of the manufacturing industries and benefits in optimization of the resources consumed and smooth operation of different processes, which ultimately reduces the overall impact on the environment and also assesses the environmental impact of its activities. A green audit of a manufactured product looks at the impact of production (including energy use and the extraction of raw material used in manufacture), use (which may cause pollution and other hazards) and disposal (potential of recycling and whatsoever waste causes pollution)..

NP-3 class CC pipes of 1400 mm diameter with 0.60 mm thick calpolic inside GRP lining, were lied between Mayur to Bodal – 7 (Zone –III) and Karkhadi campus of VECL.
Inlet chambers and inspection chambers were also placed to inspect the water quality of effluent discharge as well as to ease the collection of sample.

APPLICATION FOR GST
After accreditation of Quality Control Laboratory by NABL on 1st April 2016, first on site assessment was conducted from 28th to 29th January 2017 to examine the quality and technical competence of Laboratory. The documented Management system, SOPs, work instructions, test methods etc. are assessed for their implementation and effectiveness. The laboratory’s technical competence to perform specific tests is also evaluated.

PIPELINE FROM MAYUR TO BODAL!
VECL organized Interaction programme on 22nd March,2017 which is world widely celebrated as World Water Day promoted by United Nations. The theme of the programme was “WHY WASTE WATER?”. Technical representatives from various areas presented their innovative ideas and promoted their technologies such as odor control & process improvement in waste water , laboratory instruments and latest technologies in ETP . Students from Navrachna University / M.S.U / I.STAR also participated in this programme. The major purpose of the programme was to aware the participants to reduce water contamination as over 80% of our wastewater flows back to nature untreated. VECL shared the glimpse of the whole
