On 21st of June, 2017 VECL celebrated World Yoga Day at Dhanora campus. Employees from entire VECL participated in this initiative. This year VECL invited Yoga trainer, who demonstrated all the major yogasans and briefed about the importance of yoga in day to day life.

Surveillance audit for ISO 14001:2004     system  was held during  5^th to 8^th  September, 2017.

ISO management system standards are subject to a regular review under the rules by which they are written. Following a substantial user survey the committee decided that a review was appropriate and created the new objectives to maintain its relevance in today’s market place and in the future. (more…)

18^th AGM of VECL was organized on 18^th  August ,2017 at Dhanora campus of VECL. Whereby the noticeable  issues and all the acts and deeds necessary for the purpose were discussed.

3^rd Audit Committee Meeting and Technical Committee Meeting  was held on 19^th of  September, 2017 and on  20^th  September, 2017 at  Dhanora campus of VECL respectively.

VECL is active member of industry-led and industry-managed organizations such as CII, FGI, FICCI, ASSOCHAM,GSC and many non-government and not-for-profit organizations.

VECL actively participated in the CII Workshop on “Latest Environmental Rules and Regulations – Interpretation to Implementation” on June 23^rd , 2017 at Vadodara.

PIPELINE COMPLETION

NP-3 class CC pipes of 1400 mm diameter with 0.60 mm thick    calpolic inside GRP lining, were lied between Mayur to Bodal – 7 (Zone –III) and Karkhadi campus of VECL.

Inlet   chambers and inspection chambers were also placed to inspect the water quality of effluent discharge as well as to ease the collection of sample.
