Surveillance audit for ISO 14001:2004 system was held during 5th to 8th September, 2017.
ISO management system standards are subject to a regular review under the rules by which they are written. Following a substantial user survey the committee decided that a review was appropriate and created the new objectives to maintain its relevance in today’s market place and in the future.
No organization today can afford to risk its reputation by ignoring their environmental responsibility. So VECL has decided to adopt new version of ISO 14001 to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve its Environmental Management System.
An internal training program was conducted by the team of Legal department of VECL to make all employees aware of the updated version of ISO 14001:2015.
